In today's post, we would like to introduce you to modular solutions designed to protect LAN networks, PoE power supply, and thus to protect IP monitoring systems. These products are characterized by a different level of protection (ECO / PRO / EXT) as well as two types of connectors for cabling on the input side (RJ45 or LSA/KRONE). This is to enable installers to flexibly configure the multi-channel panel, suitably suited to the installation.
For example, if we have an installation of: 8 cameras inside and 8 cameras outside the building, we can build a 16-channel security panel from the modules: 2 x PTF-54-ECO/PoE and 2 x PTF-54-PRO/PoE with PTU/PTF-5-RACK housing. In other case, having an 8-channel panel, PTU-58R-ECO/PoE, we can expand it with another two 4-channel modules, e.g. PTU-54-EXT/PoE. Such a well-thought-out design significantly reduces the cost of surge protection, while maintaining an appropriate level of effectiveness.
