The PTF-54-ECO series modules are new devices that have improved transmission and durability parameters for long-term currents. Printed circuits with impedance control and better quality RJ-45 sockets provide less crosstalk and suppression of transmission lines, and new solutions and components provide correct operation and protection of PoE up to 60W (HiPoE).

PTF-54-ECO/PoE is designed to build multi-channel surge arresters for 10Mbit or 100Mbit LAN used with computers, switches, PLC controllers, CCTV systems and other devices installed inside buildings.

The module has a surge efficiency of 100A for each circuit of the LAN cable with direct discharge to the ground. An additional equipment are circuits protecting the connected devices against the increase of PoE supply, which may be the result of induced surge currents during the lightning discharge, but also as a result of damage to the PoE power supply. The PTF-54 series modules cooperate with PoE power supply in standards with IEEE: 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt - type 3 (HiPoE, UPOE).

It is compatible with Ethernet 10Base-T and 100Base-TX standards and can be used with 5, 5e and 6th category cabling, and thanks to the use of shielded sockets, it ensures full continuation of the FTP cable screen. Due to internally connected 4.5 and 7.8 pairs which in the mentioned standards are used only for PoE supply, the module can not be an element taking part in the measurement of cabling parameters.

The module can be installed in PTF-5-BOX plastic enclosures (1 piece) or in PTU/PTF-5-RACK panels (up to 4 pieces) - creates uniform multi-channel protection systems or by using different modules creates solutions with different functions and protective levels.
