SUG-4-20mA, overcurrent protection for 4-20mA, 0-20mA, HART current loop.
SUG-4-20mA is designed to protect current loops used in industrial automation systems and other measurement systems.
The low attenuation of protective circuits allows for the transmission of digital signals imposed on the current loop, such as the HART protocol.
The product has 3 protective levels limiting both surge voltage and surge current. The use of automatic MOSFET fuses with a load of 100mA and very low hysteresis significantly increases the protective efficiency compared to traditional protective solutions.
High-quality window terminals with high current load limit the risk of damage during large surge impulses and momentary current overloads.
The product is designed for installation at the boundary between LPZ0 and LPZ1 zones or higher. It can be used with a 24V DC current loop potential.
Simplified internal diagram.
To ensure proper overvoltage protection, it is recommended to use limiters at both ends of the power line and to properly ground them.
Proper use of the product for current loop protection.
