1-channel Economical series surge protector, designed for protection against overvoltage in Gigabit Ethernet networks, compatible with 10Base-T, 100Base-T, and 1000Base-T standards. Shock resistance up to 100A ensures effective protection of LAN installations, whose components and wiring are located inside buildings and are separated from other unprotected installations. It includes direct discharge of shock charges to the ground and eliminates overvoltages induced inside wire pairs. Carefully designed multilayer printed circuits, a special production process, and modern components have allowed for excellent data transmission parameters.

Independent PoE protection circuits eliminate voltage increase between pairs 1,2 - 3,6 and 4,5 - 7,8. This solution protects end device power supplies from damage caused by overvoltages from atmospheric discharges or uncontrolled voltage increases, for example due to PoE power supply failure. The solutions used are completely neutral for each PoE standard and protect each of them, including Hi PoE.

PTF-61-ECO/PoE is designed for installation near the end points of LAN networks such as: PC computers, PLC controllers, IPC cameras, radio transmitters, and Internet of Things devices. The lack of housing allows for placement of the protector in very small spaces. Proper grounding of the protection using the PE line is necessary for correct operation, preferably from the shortest, dedicated grounding point.

The protection can also be used on the LAN switch side, but in the case of multiple channels, we recommend using multi-channel protections from the PTU-6xx or PTF-6xx series.
