Power over Ethernet splitter converting PoE power to 12VDC, 25W power, compatible with IEEE 802.3at, PoE-Conv2/AT
The PoE-Conv2/AT is a device used for separating PoE power and converting part of it to 12VDC voltage. It is dedicated for installations where PoE power needs to be separated and converted to lower voltage. It is used for powering detectors, heaters for cameras or locks in IP intercom systems and other applications where we do not want to lose PoE power. It is compatible with 10Base-T, 100Base-T, and 1000Base-T (Gigabit Ethernet) networks, without limiting data transmission in any way. The built-in PoE power negotiation circuit (PD) supports all IEEE 802.3 power standards and types, as well as passive mode. The power transmitted by PoE can be flexibly allocated between the PoE receiving device and the 12VDC power supply. The built-in isolated converter with a 2A efficiency protects against unwanted effects in case of local grounding of connected devices. The adjustable declared total power consumption class of 7W, 13W, and 25W allows for even more efficient use of power supplied from the LAN switch.
Further PoE power transmission is activated using a switch.
