Converting PoE 48V in gigabit network to 12VDC, power 12.95W, compatible with IEEE 802.3af, PoE-Conv2 / AF
The PoE-Conv2/AF converter is used to separate PoE power (36-57V) from the LAN network and convert it to 12VDC voltage. It is used in cases where a LAN device needs to be powered, but does not have a built-in PoE function. This could be, for example, an IP camera without PoE function or a small LAN switch. It works with 100Base-T and 1000Base-T networks, providing transmission speeds of up to 1GB/s. The LAN network transmission is passed on to the end device, but PoE power is not delivered to it. The built-in PoE power negotiation system supports all IEEE 802.3 standards and types of supplied power, including passive mode.
