The product has been designed to splitting and extend lenght of RS-485 bus, and increase amount of connected devices to one network. Data packets coming at input are regenerated and sent in identical form to four outputs with independent RS-485 drivers . Each output can support up to 32 devices.
The RS-485 splitter / distributor is ideal for simplex transmission used industrial automation and CCTV systems to get a star topology. Damage or short circuit one of the branch does not lock the data transmission in other sections. Each output has a switchable 120 Ohm terminating resistor.
Built-in 600W ESD protection and short-circuit protection, provide high resistance to damage in cooperating devices in the event of a surges, lightning and vandalism.
