April 19/20. in Janów Podlaski was held the Meeting of Designers of Low Current Installations. The aim of the cyclically organized SPIN meetings is to co-create a friendly environment for constructive discussions, substantive exchange of observations on the challenges and opportunities emerging in the field of low-voltage installations and directions of market development.
The agenda of this year's meeting covered topics spanning a wide range of specializations in the low current industry, from fire alarm systems, modern CCTV systems, access control systems, voice alarm systems, building management systems, through guaranteed power supply systems, Data Center solutions, parking systems, to professional networking, multimedia and system integration solutions.
The representative of the Ewimar company, Mirosław Gondek - designer of electronic devices, developer and programmer of microprocessor devices, as part of his lecture, discussed the phenomenon of overvoltage and the causes of damage to modern electronics. He presented the construction and principle of operation of individual series of surge arresters of the Ewimar brand. He discussed the main objectives of surge protection and gave examples of such solutions in teletechnical installations.
