Surge protector for TTL 5V digital buses

The product is designed for surge protection of buses and digital ports operating at a TTL voltage level of 5V, such as DATA CLOCK, SPI, I2C, or Weigand. The low insertion capacitance allows for digital transmission at speeds of up to 10Mbit.

SUG-TTL-5V protects digital devices from atmospheric discharges, transient potential differences, and other types of threats originating from transmission lines or as a result of sabotage actions (for example, the use of a stun gun).

The protective circuits eliminate current surges with respect to ground potential and prevent transient voltage spikes between individual conductors. The protective circuits utilize an automatic MOSFET fuse, which increases protective effectiveness compared to traditional solutions, additionally eliminating the effects of transient potential differences between devices. The MOSFET fuse has very low hysteresis and a response time of 1µS, quickly disconnecting the input circuit from the output circuit after exceeding the rated current of just 0.5mA above the norm. Once the threat has passed, the connection is restored in the same time of 1µS.
