APS-1Zo/1P is a device that protects the alarm sensor or the central alarm system entry from the effects of surges and lightning strikes. It is dedicated to alarm lines that do not use the duplication function; in the case of duplicated lines, it can only be used to protect the end sensor.

It has two protective circuits with an effectiveness of up to 10kA (alarm + power) with a common ground, and the applied MOSFET technology reduces the level of surge voltages reaching the protected device.

The limiter is a universal device, capable of being used in any alarm systems and with any detectors installed indoors or outdoors (in additional enclosures). It is dedicated to protecting detectors that have outputs in the form of NO/NC contacts - it is not suitable for detectors with digital transmission (bus). For such devices, the APS-2Zo/1P/DIN product should be used.

The miniature dimensions allow the surge protector to be hidden in small hermetic enclosures near the protected detectors, and the removable screw terminals facilitate installation and servicing.

To ensure full protection of the alarm circuit, two identical models of APS-1Zo/1P can be used at both ends of the wire or used in combination with other limiters from the APS series.
