Rack 19" base for protection modules series PTF-64 and PTU-64, possibility to install four modules, grounding by screws, PTU/PTF-6-RACK
The PTU/PTF-6-RACK housing is the mounting base designed to build own configurations of Gigabit Ethernet surge protection. It has space for mounting four, 4-channel protective modules of the PTF-64 and PTU-64 series.
Depending on your needs, you can mount all modules of one type or any other configuration. Assembly of modules is very easy and involves inserting RJ-45 sockets into the holes and screwing PCB board by four screws.
The modules are earthed using screws, so ensure clean connections and tighten all screws. The main grounding conductor is connected to the base with a screw and it should be screwed to the PE line.
Cables coming from LAN installations can be protected by cable ties. For this are used the tabs on the back of the panel and additional square holes.
To protect the modules against damage, dust or to reduce the risk of interference from other devices, you can optionally use a dedicated top cover.
