PTZ protocol translator for one camera, OSRD and Biphase Pelco, designed to integrate Speed Dome cameras with Bosch CCTV , CONV-AG Bosch-to-Pelco-Lite

The protocol converter (code translator) is a microprocessor device designed to integrate Speed Dome cameras from any manufacturer with Bosch CCTV systems using the Pelco code. Allows you to control various cameras with Bosch PTZ keyboards, Video recorders or Video Matrix. It is installed between control devices and PTZ cameras. It also extends the bus length twice when the unit is installed with a middle distance between the camera and the controller.

Modern processor with efficient software ensure fast data processing and very fast response to control. It has one input port for Bosch, configurable for Biphase code or OSRD (RS-485) and two independent outputs for cameras with Pelco protocol. Pelco ports and the Bosch port configured as OSRD have an adjustable transmission rate in the range of 1200baud to 115200baud. Configurable LEDs informs about various situations of data transmission and facilitate diagnostics and troubleshooting of camera controls.

This is a 3rd series product, fully configurable and updated via USB using Ewimar Upgrader / Configurator software. This allows you to buy and change software, which means that the unnecessary converter can be reused in other systems at a low cost. It also has additional software options that introduce advanced real-time translation capabilities - they are activated using license codes.

 

Main features:

  • Support for one camera by one converter with addresses in the range 1-16383.
  • The Address Shift option is active, changing the input addresses 1-16383 to the output addresses of cameras in the range 1 to 255
  • Active Advanced Joystick Correction option active for each camera individually.
  • Simultaneous processing of many movement commands: Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Iris, Focus.
  • Programming and calling functions PRESET and AUX.
  • Wide range of baud rate selection and Pelco protocol type selection.
  • Defining settings and updating software via USB and Ewimar Firmware Upgrader / Configurator.
  • The firmware can be changed to other ones when the converter will no longer be used in the existing system - the cost is only the firmare.
  • Firmware 0.02.00 - password protection has been added. Features have been added to correct Biphase support in old Philips products
