PTZ protocol converter / translator Pelco to Bosch / Biphase

The converter translator is a microprocessor device designed to control Bosch cameras of the G3, G4, GV4 series by PTZ keyboards, Video Recorders or Video Matrix using the Pelco-D or Pelco-P protocol. It is installed between control devices and PTZ cameras. When installed at a center distance between the camera and controller, it also extends the bus length twice.

Efficient processor and firmware ensure fast data processing and very fast response to control. It has one input port for Pelco and two independent outputs for Bosch cameras, which can be configured as Biphase code or Bosch OSRD (RS-485). The Pelco port and Bosch ports configured as OSRD have an adjustable transmission rate in the range of 1200baud to 115200baud.

This is a 3rd series product, fully configurable and updated via USB using Ewimar Upgrader / Configurator software. This allows you to buy and change software, which means that the unnecessary converter can be reused in other systems at a low cost. It also has additional software options that introduce advanced real-time translation capabilities - they are activated using license codes.

• The number of cameras supported by the converter can be increased to 99 by purchasing additional licenses.
• Shift address option changing input addresses 1-255 to output addresses of cameras in the range 1-to 16383 - optional license.

• Simultaneous processing of many movement commands: Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Iris, Focus.
• Programming and calling functions PRESET and AUX.
• Wide range of baud rate selection and Pelco protocol type selection.
• Settings and upgrading firmware via USB and Ewimar Firmware Upgrader / Configurator.
• The firmware can be changed to other model ones when the converter will no longer be used in the existing system - only at the cost of the firmware.
