We have started a new training series on hazards in telecommunication installations!
On our YouTube channel, a training series dedicated to threats in telecommunication installations has started, in which we discuss the most important issues related to the safety and reliability of modern systems.
The materials have been prepared with designers, installers, and specialists responsible for the maintenance and protection of telecommunication infrastructure in mind. In the following episodes, we will analyze real threats occurring in installations and present solutions that effectively secure devices and systems.
As part of the training, we will also show technologies used in Ewimar products that help increase the safety level of installations and reduce the risk of failures.
The first episode of the training – surges and atmospheric discharges.
In the first part of the training, we discuss threats related to surges and direct lightning discharges. These are among the most common causes of damage to electronic devices in telecommunication installations.
In the material, we explain, among others:
- what surges are and what their basic types are,
- why direct lightning discharge is one of the greatest threats to installations,
- what effects a lightning strike on a building or power line can have,
- how atmospheric discharges affect LAN networks, CCTV monitoring systems, and security installations.
Where to watch the next parts of the training?
The first video is available on our YouTube channel and for the convenience of our customers, we have created a "Training" tab on the Ewimar website. In this section, we will also publish all subsequent materials from the series so that it is easy to find the recordings of interest.
