AHD, CVI, TVI, CVBS Video Sender for CCTV Camera, AV-500-4HD

The Video Sender is designed for radio transmission of high resolution Video over short distances on the 5.8GHz ISM band, not requiring permission to use. Works with CCTV and DVR systems operating in AHD, HD-CVI, HD-TVI and PAL (CVBS) standards with resolutions of 960H, 720P / 960P and 1080P. It supports 1 Video channel, with real time mode - without the delays occurring in IP solutions. It is compatible with cameras and DVR's HikVision, Dahua or other brands, 4-system cameras using the above video standards.

Due to the width of the allowed ISM band, the number of available radio channels depends on the resolution of the connected cameras: 960H / 720P / 960P - 4 channels, 1080P - 2 channels. Radio range for 1080P resolution differs depending on the connected camera standard and is: AHD - 500 meters, HD-CVI - 400 meters, HD-TVI - 300 meters. For lower resolutions, it is a minimum of 500 meters for each of the standards. The ranges given are for an area with a large amount of radio interference in an open area and may vary depending on the conditions.

The AV-500-4HD has been thoroughly thought out in terms of practicality and durability against failures. Wall-post bracket, adjustable in two planes, allows you to mount the device in all conditions without the need for additional accessories.

Montage and adjustment

The transmitter and receiver are equipped with high-quality overvoltage protectors, 2kA (Extreme series) for Video and 5kA for power supply, which reduces the risk of damage to the set and connected devices during lightning. The transmitter additionally has a set of connectors that simplify the connection of the camera installed nearby and hide connectors ans cables inside housing. The transmitter's built-in surge protection also protects the connected camera if it is installed in close proximity. If it is remote, it is recommended to connect an additional surge arrester to the camera. To avoid damage to the DVR, it is always recommended to connect a surge arrester suitable for the cable used.

Rceiver and transmitter use special grommets, all connecting cables do not require cutting during installation or service, if they need to be removed completely.
Connection to the DVR can be done using a coaxial cable or UTP twisted pair cable, thanks to the built-in Video Balun - also protected by a surge arrester (OVP).

Connection options for the set

The product is recommended for use with branded recorders. During the tests it was found that some of the cheapest multi-system DVRs from unknown companies show unstable operation with the kit.
