1-channel surge protector for the Economical series network mounted on a DIN rail, designed to protect Gigabit Ethernet networks, compatible with standards 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T, 10GBASE-T. Impact resistance at the level of 100A ensures effective protection of LAN installations, whose components and wiring are located inside buildings and are distant from other unprotected installations. It includes direct discharge of surge currents to the ground and elimination of surges induced within pairs of wires. Very carefully designed multilayer printed circuits, a special production process, and modern components have allowed for excellent data transmission parameters.

Independent power protection circuits for PoE eliminate voltage spikes between pairs 1,2 - 3,6 and 4,5 - 7,8. This solution protects the power supplies of end devices from damage due to surges caused by lightning strikes or uncontrolled voltage increases, for example, due to a failure of the PoE power supply. The applied solutions are completely neutral to any PoE standard and protect each of them, including Hi PoE.

PTF-61-ECO/PoE/DIN is intended for installation near LAN network endpoints such as: PCs, PLC controllers, IPC cameras, radio transmitters, Internet of Things devices. It is equipped with a free-standing housing that can be screwed to the wall. It is equipped with a housing installed on a DIN rail. The grounding of the protector is done using a DIN rail or wire, which should be connected to the PE line, preferably to the shortest, dedicated grounding point.

The surge protector can also be used on the LAN switch side, however, in the case of multiple channels, we recommend using multi-channel protectors from the PTU-6xx or PTF-6xx series.
